‘Raksha Bandhan’ is one of the most endearing ways to celebrate the bond between brothers and sisters. It was celebrated with full enthusiasm, zeal, and gaiety at MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul School on Wednesday, 14th August, 2019.
Raksha Bandhan celebration commenced with a special morning assembly conducted by the students of Sr.KG- B. A small speech was presented to mark the significance of the occasion. The students formed a HUMAN CHAIN by dressing up in traditional costumes of various countries to spread a social message of “UNIVERSAL BROTHERHOOD”. The chain symbolized equality and a feeling of humanity amongst all people. Students were familiarized with the customs and rituals followed on Raksha Bandhan.
Our Pre-school girls tied rakhis on the small wrist of the boys in their respective classes and in return, the boys gave sweet as a token of love. Our Pre-school girls also tied the Rakhi to our honorable Principal Dr. Sandeep Khanna.
Thanks to the combined efforts of teachers and students, the school not only succeeded in catalyzing the feeling of love, care and affection but also teach students about our tradition.
