Very nice news article has been written about our children’s attempt to add some happiness to the old age home on the occasion of holi. The news release has been voluntarily done by the newspaper reporter who also was thrilled to hear about our unique way of celebrating holi with older generation at the old age home.

Gudi Padwa was celebrated traditionally and with joy at MAEER MIT Pune's
Vishwashanti Gurukul, CBSE School Pandharpur. The traditional Gudi puja was
undertaken by the Principal and Admin officer along with all staff and
students at the school block. The Prasad made of neem flower seeds and
Jaggery was prepared and distributed. The history behind the festival was
explained to the students. Each student was asked to do further research and
write small paragraphs on significance of the festival and Maharashtra new
Special Lunch menu comprising of puri, shrikhand, puran poli and potato
vegetable was served to the children who really enjoyed the occasion.
