Festivals make our life colorful and charming. They also promote and make us aware of our rich cultural heritage, and stimulate the feeling of oneness and cooperation. Celebrating festivals in schools also helps in acquainting the young generation to our culture and enables its preservation. Keeping this in mind, MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul School, Loni, organized the magnificent Annual Day Function of pre-primary students on 2nd February 2019 in the school auditorium. The theme for the event was Festivals of India.
An event like this cannot be planned overnight. The wheels started rolling months ago. We have been fortunate enough to be backed by a team of very motivated and dedicated staff that knows its job and is result oriented. The function involved a lot of planning and selection. Everybody applied their minds to make the function memorable. The budding and talented student actors seemed to have got into the skin of the character. All the teachers strived endlessly to bring out the best in each individual. All this helped to bring imagination to reality. The play designed and directed for the event was simple that successfully reached everyone, yet sophisticated that lived up to the school’s standard.
The tiny tots put up a great show and experienced the importance of bonding together, sharing joys and celebrating festivals. Children entertained the audience with their dance performances on various festivals one after the other. The grand finale highlighted the importance of unity. The show stole the hearts of all present there. Dr. Sandeep Khanna, Principal, appreciated the efforts of the students, teachers, and parents. The function was a delightful treat for the audience. It was truly amazing to see a cast of 178 students perform to perfection. The melodious music and the wonderful dance performances were appreciated by everyone.
