Vishwashanti Gurukul hostels are wisely designed and well furnished, spacious with attached wash rooms equipped with 24 hr. supply of hot water. Immaculate hygiene, 24 x7 vigilance & security, good maintenance, spacious common rooms operational with TV, Audio video equipment and other required facilities allow the students here to feel at home.

The students unwind with movie shows during weekends that are selected by the film committee.

Dorm parents take care of the health and welfare of the students. They co-ordinate all issues of the students with concern authorities.

VGS- One of the top boarding schools in India has separate safe and high quality hostel for Girls. Dining is taken place in a gracious and orderly manner in the dining hall as students take their seats before meals, beginning with prayers. The menu includes a variety healthy and tasty food including North Indian, South Indian and Continental.The food served is pure vegetarian sourced from different parts of the country and abroad.

The Health and Medical Center at Vishwashanti School, one of the top boarding schools in India, maintains the health record of every child. Emergency first-aid is provided in case of any accident and the child rushed to a hospital if the situation gets serious. They not only take care of the student's health but also advise them on hygiene and precautionary care that may be needed during the years of rapid physical growth. In case the child is not feeling well, the teacher or the house parent takes them to the doctor.

School hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. from Monday to Saturday for classes I – X and from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. from Monday to Friday for Pre Primary.

VGS is located at Pandharpur, one of the most pious, serene, pollution free environment in the country.

The School has brand new fleet of Buses that pickup and drop students in and around 30 to 35 kms from the school campus. All norms and guidelines/safety measures for school buses are followed.

18. What health care is available at VGS?

The school takes seriously its responsibility to safeguard the health of staff and students. 19. How can I communicate with my child?

You may communicate with your child via mail, phone call, email or by visits.

20. Is there a required interview or admissions test?

The admission test and interview is as per School’s policies. Details available on request.

21. How do we pay the application fees?

The application fees may be paid in form of a DD.

22. My child wishes to complete his/her final year of secondary education (grade 12) at VGS. Is this possible?

VGS does not normally consider applications for admission to grade 12. Exceptions are made in certain circumstances, at the discretion of the Admissions Committee.

23. When should I submit an application for admission?

The admission process for any school year begins in September of the previous year. For example, the admission process for the 2018-2019 school years began on the 1st of September 2017.

24. Can I submit the required documents as they are completed?

An application is processed only when all of the required documents from the checklist are received. The process is much more efficient if all the required documents are submitted together. An application will not be processed unless we have received the application fee.

25. When will I know if my child has been accepted at VGS?

A decision is made by the Admissions Committee normally within 2-3 weeks from: a) the day the completed application materials are received (in cases where the admission test and interview is waived or the applicant is deemed unqualified based on the documents submitted) or b) the day the admission test and interview is held at VGS.

26. Is there a waiting list?

There may be a waiting list for certain grades where there are more qualified applicants than spaces available.

27. Is the application fee refundable?

The application fee is not refundable.

28. Does VGS accept students who do not speak English?

VGS does not discriminate between students.

29. What security is provided at VGS?

There is 24-hour security on campus and at the residences. All visitors are required to sign in with the reception.

30. What is the average length of service of staff at VGS?

The average service of staff at VGS can be considered as 5 years and more.

31. Does VGS conduct and participate in inter school activities?

Yes, VGS students have a number of opportunities to interact with students from other schools in and around the state. There are inter school sports, dramatics and other events held periodically.
