1. Where is the school located?

The school is located on the outskirts of Pune, off Pune-Solapur highway, ahead of Loni Kalbhor toll plaza, in a lush green 120 acre campus with best infrastructure and facilities.


2. Give some information about the Management ?

Maharashtra Academy of Engineering Education and Research’s (MAEER) MIT Group of Institutions is an educational conglomerate, which was established in 1983 by the visionary educationist Prof. Dr. Vishwanath D Karad. Starting with one of the first private engineering colleges in Maharashtra, MIT Group today runs 72+ institutions and 4 private universities. This covers disciplines such as Engineering (including marine and railway), Medicine, Pharmacy, Insurance, Telecom Management, Lighting, Design, Food Technology, Retail Management, Business Management, Governance and Vedic Sciences, including the distance learning option, as well as school education. MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul Schools (VGS) place great emphasis on the development of every student to bring out his/her unique qualities, by synchronizing the timeless Indian values and modern scientific knowledge. The focus is not on mere dissemination of information in the classrooms; but rather the aim is to impart a comprehensive training for life through the 'harmonious development of body, mind and soul'. An intensive curriculum has explicitly been designed for these schools to take care of quantitative and non-quantitative measures of development during the childhood of an emerging adolescent. Keeping in view the rapid growth and changes in education systems, most schools under VGS are affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), while others are in the process of getting CBSE affiliation. Full-fledged classes are conducted from nursery to grade XII.


3. For which classes are admissions open ?

Admissions are open from nursery to grade IX.


4. What are the school timings?

The School timings are as follows:-

Pre-primary (Nursery to Sr. KG.)

Day School (09:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.)

Primary & Middle (Class I to X)

Day School (9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.)


5. Is the school co-educational?

Yes, the school admits boys and girls from nursery onwards.


6. What is the school academic curriculum?

The school academic curriculum is affiliated to CBSE - a national education board based on the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) defined by National Council for Educational Research and Training (NCERT), New Delhi. This ensures a well-researched and all-round curriculum, which gets revised based on the changing needs of children and society. Generally, all the national level entrance examinations are based on this curriculum. The key components of the academic program are:

  • Good supporting instructional material available for the teachers at various levels
  • A well designed curriculum including a subject-wise concept framework created with the help of outside knowledge partners, for grades nursery to V
  • Grade VI onwards, the curriculum based on the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) defined by NCERT, New Delhi

7. What is the teacher/student ratio ?

The ratio is 1:30. The school provides individual care and attention at all times.


8. How is the teaching faculty selected ?

Senior leading educators have already been appointed on the advisory team for selection of teachers. Appropriate educational qualifications, relevant experience, demonstration lesson and a rigorous interview process are the selection criteria. Furthermore, teachers are recruited only on the basis of merit, as per the guidelines and policies of the school. Regular workshops and training programs are conducted for teachers to keep them up-to-date with the latest teaching methodologies.


9. What subjects are offered to the Ppimary & middle school children?

Subjects offered for Grades I to IX are:-

10. What is the age requirement for admission? Is any relaxation possible ?

The Age criteria is as follows:-

Nursery 3
Jr.KG 4
Sr.KG 5
Class I 6
Class II 7 & 1 year for each higher grade

Age relaxation can be considered by the principal in exceptional cases.


11. Does the school provide transport facility ?

The school offers extensive transport facility coverage. The routes get re-planned at the start of every academic session to optimize travel time for the students. Safety is the primary concern of the school. Each bus has a trained driver and a lady attendant. Speed governors and other RTO norms are followed. Bus charges are not included in the annual school fees . They are decided at the start of the academic session and are payable in two insta lments.

12. What kind of infrastructural is available and what are the extra-curricular activities conducted?

13. What is the admission process ?

For completing the below mentioned admission process, parents can visit the school on any working day between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm including Saturdays.

  • Collect a registration kit/application form from the admission office in the school.
  • The completed form along with the 1st term fees should be submitted to the school office, after which the admission will be confirmed.

14. What are the documents required at the time of admission ?

Documents to be submitted at the time of admission along with the completed admission form, after which the admission will be confirmed:

  • Birth certificate photocopy, attested by a notary or government official
  • Medical certificate stating that the child is physically and mentally fit
  • Blood group proof (original or attested photocopy)
  • Five passport size colour photographs of the student
  • One passport size photograph of each parent
  • Previous report card photocopy (not applicable for nursery admissions)
Admission will only be confirmed upon submission of all documents.

15. What kind of entrance test will be taken at the time of admission ?

No written test is conducted for lower grades. Students are admitted on a first-come-first basis. Grade VI onwards a written test has to be taken by the students.


16. What is the fee-break up ?

17. By Admission is granted only when the 1st term tuition fees is paid. When do we need to pay the fees ?

Printed fee instalment details will be shared with the parents.


18. Is there any concession on tuition fee or admission fee ?

No, the fee structure is standard for every student. However, some discount is given in case of parents making a lump sum payment or admitting all sibling in the school.


19. Can we pay the fees in installments?

Yes, tuition fees can be paid in instalments. Admission fees have to be paid up front.
