Why VGS

Education in its general sense is a form of learning in which knowledge, skills and wisdom are transferred from one generation to the next through teaching, training and research. This happens through any experience that has a formative effect on the way one thinks, feels or acts.

Gandhiji had said, “Education is the all -round drawing out of the best in a child at the levels of body mind and spirit”.

On the same lines, VGS too focuses on the development of the intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual quotient of the children.

VGS stands for dedication, commitment and excellence. The school strives for imparting quality education and developing the young minds to become citizens with a strong foundation of values and culture. It is our goal to see that the education provided in the school is aligned with the vision, mission and objectives of VGS. Our efforts are planned in such a way that they provide a dynamic educational experience, keeping in mind the challenging future and the changing needs of the society.

The school is committed to provide a safe and secure environment where students enjoy learning and explore their hidden potentialities. The environment at VGS provides the children with opportunities to learn and develop. Children are encouraged to develop their individual talents , trained to shoulder responsibility in life, and work in the society with confidence, courage and determination. The school is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and enriches its teaching style by adopting the curriculum, which is logical, value -based, life -oriented and skill -focused. We, at VGS ensure that our students not only get the best of education; but also explore their hidden talents and develop them to the maximum potential. Curricular and co-curricular activities, both are given due and equal importance for the all -round growth and development of students.
